Description
Along the spine are seven chakras, each corresponding with the surroundings of the soul. One or more can be disrupted, closing up to help protect the spirit.
Inspired from a massage appointment, I wanted to do something along the lines of spirituality. Each chakra has a certain significance (from left to right):
Sahasrara- deals with intuitive knowing, spiritual connection, emotions, integration of the whole, and awareness
Ajna- deals with wisdom, intellect, ideal actions, detachment, insight, understanding, intuitive reasoning, and visualization
Vishuddha- deals with communication, creativity, responsibility, confession, faith, truthfulness, intuition, synthesis, and expression
Anahata- deals with social identity, trust, forgiveness, unconditional love, stability, mental patience, compassion, emotional empowerment, and the soul
Manipura- deals with sense of belonging, mental understanding of emotions, self-esteem, personal power, stamina, thought, will, success, and ego
Svadhishthana- deals with emotional identity, creativity, desire, pleasure and self-gratification, procreation, and personal relationships
Muladhara- deals with physical identity, survival, stability, instinctual nature, ambition, and self-sufficiency
