Returning and Reawakening

During the weekend, I did a lot of random sketches for homework and I felt a sudden burst of art inspiration. It was as if the skills I've learned have remained dormant for a while and I was finally letting the creative rivers flow. It felt wonderful to make an art piece that I was completely satisfied with. It felt amazing to let loose a bit and be the best I could be. Such is the reason why there is light shining from me: My chest tore open and the inspirational light shone through to burn itself onto the "canvas", creating what you see now.

To be honest, when I look at this, I feel like it wasn't me who drew it. Maybe it's a feeling of accomplishment? Not sure, but I sure as hell admire my own work for the first time in many months.
